Business Unit of SMS
The Business Unit of SMS (Security, Environment and Occupational Health) has as its main task to offer companies qualification and assessorship in the implementation of methodologies and tools for the improvement of the environmental management and security & occupational health, aiming to attend the stakeholders, the legislations, improvement of the organization image, employees satisfaction and consequent investment’s return to the shareholders.
Our team plan and execute the assessorship services using, as necessary, national and international references, such as NBR ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, PRODIR, SASSMAQ, OIT rules, Transqualit Green and legal adequacy (environmental, working legislations, NR's and other regulations), amongst others.
The Business Unit of SMS attends the necessities of the most diverse sorts of companies, in terms of governance (limited or S.A.), segment (energy, agriculturists, industrials or services suppliers) and size. The solutions implementation always looks for the most effective way - as possible, always integrating with other existing systems and generating value in the form of financial return in the short, average or long term.

- Implantation of a SMS Management System for attendance to the requirements of the Petrobra's Portal System
- Implantation of Environmental Management System for attendance of the BS 8555 norm
- Implantation of Environmental Management System as CONAMA 306 for signatory companies of the law nº 9,966 - Law of the Oil (Lei do Oleo)
- Development and implantation of Eco-efficiency Projects
- Implantation of Management Systems as NBR ISO 14064 – Greenhouse gases - Part 1: Specification with guidance at the organization level for quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions and removals
- Environmental diagnosis and/or Initial security and occupational health
- Identification and evaluation of the environmental aspects and impacts
- Evaluation of Legal Conformity (Environmental and/or security and occupational health)
- Identification, study and actualization of environmental legislations and/or security and occupational health applicable for the company
- Implantation of the Environmental Management System aiming NBR ISO 14001 certification
- Internal auditor and of second parts (suppliers) of SGA/SGSSO/SGI
- Independent diagnosis for evaluation of SGA/SGSSO
- Diagnosis to identify works or necessary actions to adequate to SGA/SGSSO or legislation
- Consultancy on the suppliers’ development with identification of necessary environmental requirements and/or security and occupational health
- Improvement of processes aiming at environmental performance, using P + L techniques (cleaner production)
- Integration of the Quality Management System with the Environmental Management System and/or Security and Occupational Health Management System
- Implantation of the Integrated Management System, for attendance to the NBR ISO 9001, NBR ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 norms
- Implantation of Management System attending SASSMAQ norm
- Implantation of Management System attending Transqualit Green norm
