KEYASSOCIADOS gets gold in Paulista Award in Quality of Management
For the second consecutive time, internal good practices of management are awarded. KEYASSOCIADOS, specialized consulting in implementation of management techniques established by international norms was contemplated with gold medal in the Paulista Award for Quality of Management / Prêmio Paulista de Qualidade da Gestão (PPQG) that annually recognizes public and private organizations in São Paulo State with best management systems.
In 2006 the company was awarded with the silver medal in the category "Micro and small enterprises", when participated by the first time in the award. This year, KEYASSOCIADOS received the gold medal in the same category, next to Bradesco and Rhodia, which also took gold in the category "Medium-sized enterprises". For the project manager of KEYASSOCIADOS, Alexandre Hernandez, "the management committed to all employees, suppliers, society and the environment is not related to the size of the company, but to its working philosophy and commitment of everyone".
Managed by the Institute of Excellence in Management / Instituto de Excelencia da Gestão (IPEG) in partnership with the Federation and Center of Industries of São Paulo State (FIESP and CIESP), the award is a recognition of the continuos work of organizations working to improve the services provided according to international indexes of excellence. "As a company that operates in the areas of business strategy, sustainability, environmental management systems, we have a responsibility to be strictly in accordance with these practices, always seeking excellence"; says Hernandez. The Paulista Quality Management Award 2007 had 52 companies subscribed, which 40 passed to the second stage - technical visits - and 30 were awarded (see the full list in the website www.ppqg.org.br). The companies were assessed by 44 senior examiners, 170 examiners and 5 judges.
The awards were handed out on July 12th, 2007, at Palácio dos Bandeirantes, with presence of the Governor of São Paulo, José Serra.
