KEYASSOCIADOS has just received for the fourth consecutive time, the Gold Award in 2007 Banas Management, Quality and Sustainable Development category, sponsored by the Magazine 'Banas Qualidade', from the publisher Epse. The award, recognized throughout the national territory, highlights the performance of organizations focused on excellence in management and achieving results through integrated systems. Criteria that guide all decion making process of KEYASSOCIADOS' management.
Competing with 23 organizations, the company was evaluated according to internationally recognized standards and requirements - such as those set by ISO 9001:2000, demonstrating its expertise in the improvement of quality systems and social responsibility.
The award was held on 2007 November 27th, at Espaço Rosa Rosarum, Sao Paulo.
What is Banas Management Award
The responsable company is the one with the ability to listen to the interests of the different parties (shareholders, employees, service providers, suppliers, consumers, community, government and environment) and to incorporate them in the planning of activities, seeking to answer the demands of all. The Banas Management Award 2007 is aimed to recognize the efforts of these organizations, by rewarding companies in the following categories:
IMR (Integrated Management for Results): evaluates organizations that pursue Integrated Management System able to answer, in a balanced way, the needs of all stakeholders (society, environment, employees, government agencies, shareholders and consumers). This category - which the criteria are similar to the National Quality Award - in 2005, won another segment: The Consultancy. The IMR toward consultants evaluates the specific management of the companies in this segment.
How is the Assesment and Award Cycle
The cycle of registration and evaluation is very similar to the traditional cycle of PNQ and works as follows: until the middle of the year, companies must sign up and prepare your management report, based on applicable criteria. Specifically, KEYASSOCIADOS used the criteria of IMR - Integrated Management for Results, once the company already owns ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. After the delivery of the report, a group of independent assessors realizes the verification of management practices, scoring each criteria on a scale from 0 to 100% of attendance. And finally, the organization receives your score, as KEYASSOCIADOS, whose roof of score was 1,000 points, corresponding to the Integrated Management.
With the raising of points of all candidates, the group of assessors (evaluation board) establishes a minimun score for award. All assessed organizations above this limit will be visited by assessors in order to confirm the veracity of the reported management practices. At this stage, the score may be adjusted to higher (in the case of practices that were not enough reported) or lower (when, during the visits, the information is presented below shown at the initial assessment).
At the end, all companies with higher scores than the determined minimum value by the Evaluation Board will be awarded, but only the one with the highest score get the Gold Award. Keyassociados was considered the best company in the IMR category, which represents excellence in management, attending all stakeholders in a balanced way.
